December 18, 2024 - Union Firefighters reported to the station to complete mounting equipment, tools and packing hose on Squad 5. Union Squad 5 was called In-Service at 23:23hrs by Lt. Andrew Kalczynski, who has been instrumental in the design of the new Squad. The purpose of Squad 5 is to combine 2 previously separate apparatus, Engine 1, and Rescue 5. Union Squad 5 will replace Rescue 5 and Engine 1 on our run board.
