Paratech Highway VSK Strut Kit In-Service Training
Low temps and freezing rain didn’t stop Union Firefighters from training on our new Paratech VSK Strut Kit. This kit offers us many uses, including ability to stabilize overturned vehicles and structurally comprimised buildings. The vertical load limit on a single strut is over 80,000lbs (40 tons).
A very special thank you to Mike Meldrum from Fire Rescue Products for leading our training and instructing our firefighters on proper and safe use of our new Kit.

Union Firefighters dont just train in fair weather. In fact the night of this training, outside temps were in the low 20's with a significant wind/ wind chill
