Union Firefighter took part in National Night Out Tuesday August 2nd. National Night Out is an Annual Community-building campaign which in West Seneca is hosted by West Seneca Police every year on the first Tuesday of August. This Years event was held at Erie One Boces on Harlem Road (Across From the SPCA). Union Firefighters offered Events such as the ever so popular Spray house, Fire Safety Inflatable house and information/instruction on Hands-Only CPR.
Something for everyone
Union had supplies on hand for the public to learn about fire safety, and of course some coloring supplies for the kids.
Hands only CPR
Union Firefighters held some training on Hands Only CPR. In none other than an actual ambulance. The Public had the opportunity to learn some life-saving skills under the watchful eye of our very own American Heart Association CPR Instructor.
New to the Game
Union Recently purchased an inflatable house to aid in teaching children about fire safety. The inflatable has illustrations and interactive pieces to keep kids engaged.

Union 7 Was on scene to assist with Hands Only CPR.
Spray House
The Spray house is always a hit with the kids, who line up to give the line a try on some mock fire.
Aerial Operations
Captain Phil Wzientek takes the Aerial for a ride to show the crowd some of Truck 2's capabilities.
Truck 2
Truck 2 was on display for the Public to see and ask questions about. For the Young boy who asked how fast it goes -Max Governed speed is 75MPH. For a 20+ Ton vehicle, that is PLENTY.
