After 2 Years as Chief - Chief Miller has hung up his White Helmet in exchange for a Black Helmet. Chief Justin Miller
has been a member of Union since 2003, when he joined at 18 Years Old. Chief Miller worked his way up the ranks over the
last 22 Years, beginning as an Equipment Officer in 2005. He served as both a Fire Lieutenant, and EMS
Lieutenant. He moved up to Fire Captain, and progressed through 2nd Asst. Chief to 1st Asst. Chief, to Chief.

As Chief, your responsibilities are immense. The Chief is responsible for everyday operations of the Truckroom, overseeing
over 1000 calls for service per year, and coordinating trainings, details and other events.
The Chief also must plan for emergencies at our over 2800 residences and numerous businesses within District 2. The position is like having another Full-Time job.
