August 16, 2024 - 03:01hrs - Union Fire along with Mutual aid partners from Seneca Hose, Winchester and Vigilant were dispatched to a report of a structure fire in the area of 275 French Road. Union 9 arrived on scene reporting a Fully Involved home and detached garage, and the fire would be defensive at this time. East Seneca was requested to the scene. At 03:34hrs Union 9 reported bulk of the fire was knocked down, 2 - (1-3/4"), and 3 (2.5") lines in operation, and Seneca Host Truck 6 was setting up for Aerial operations.
South Line Engine 3 Filled in at Union's Station. At 05:17 hours units began calling in service as available with the exception of Union Truck 2, which stood by for Emergency Demolition of the structure until approximately 12:30 hours. The Fire is currently Under Investigation by the West Seneca Police Detective Bureau.
